Kira had this to say about her hair, "I went natural because I couldn't bring myself to burn my hair with another relaxer or straightener. And then when I tried to care for an afro, I started to see that ripping through my ultra-thick hair with a pick everyday wasn't any good for it either. So I stopped fighting it and just let it do it's thing. I feel like it's really meant to grow this way."
